Shining Stars

The Shining Star of the day is my Grandma, Lael Taylor. Now that I think about it, she's always been a shining star in my life! Gram knows exactly how to make me feel better and how to make me feel loved. from the time that I was little it's always been Me & Gram, best friends. She would read me books to me, make me tapioca pudding when I was sick, she'd put extra sugar in my applesauce just because she thought it wasn't sweet enough, make me peanut butter and honey sandwiches cut diagonally, she's let me take me baby doll, Lilian Rose, to the store with us and if I even mentioned cookies she whip some right up & let me help! Still to this day, as I am a tiny bit older now, all of those still apply. Now she helps with problems of college days like: recipes, love interests, roommates, being homesick, my assignments, what I should wear & she always makes me feel like the only one that matters. See the thing about gram that not very many people outside the "Sunday Dinner Crew" know is, she is a hoot! She never stops making me laugh and always has the funniest stories to tell me. Another thing about Gram is, she's strong. She always keeps it together for the family. If I call her really worried about something that she is equally worried about she holds it together so I can fall apart. I've never met a women like her and I am honored to be her granddaughter. It "tickles me pink" ( her line) when people say I remind them of my grandmother because if we're being honest, no one in the world is better.
